I really liked their seafood gumbo. it also came with homemade bread which was amazing. Drink was good too. The atmosphere was very cute and calming and rustic inside. It's kind of an interesting place because it is nestled in a residential area but definitely a romantic date night spot for sure.
Came recently for my birthday. We got a great table in the corner far away from others. Perfect cute, casual atmosphere. Great cocktails. Appetizers were delicious especially the gnocchi and mussels. The scallops were perfectly cooked and had great accompaniments. Coconut tart for dessert- perfect. Server was friendly and so was the bartender. Loved the atmosphere! Will be back.
This is just the most charming, delicious, friendly little gem of a spot. The space is clean and simple and cozy with a gorgeous old bar as the centerpiece. The service is impeccable -- friendly, informative, thoughtful. Then the food. I might kill someone for the gnocchi starter. But then I wouldn't be around to order the amazing duck confit salad or rabbit. All so, so delicious. Can't wait to go back!
It doesn't get any better than this. I went with my dad and my husband for the Coolinary dinner menu. Among the three of us, we tried the beet bruschetta, gumbo, mussels with fries, grilled gulf shrimp, bread pudding, and passion fruit sorbet. OH MY WORD. Every last bite of every single dish was sensational. The service was fantastic and the ambiance was nice and inviting. We give Patois a 10/10 and cannot wait for our next visit!
Came to New Orleans on a foodie trip and Patois came strongly recommended. My wife made reservations with a note of gluten intolerance. They personally marked their menu with all that she could have. That small detail was appreciated! Then the food came out....unbelievable. Thank you for hosting us. Looking to bring others with us next time we visit.
